xThe EVO L Carbon is the carbon fiber variant of the EVO L QRT seat, constructed using “Pre-Preg” aerospace-grade carbon fiber, commonly referred to as Dry Carbon. This manufacturing method results in a lightweight structure, with the bare shell weighing under 10 lbs (4.5 kg) and the complete seat, including padding and cover, weighing approximately 12 lbs (5.4 kg).
The EVO L Carbon complies with FIA 8859-1999 safety standards. Designed to accommodate drivers with a maximum waist size of 36 inches, the EVO L Carbon provides a balance between driver size accommodation and cockpit compatibility. Its compact external dimensions allow it to fit into smaller racing cockpits, which is uncommon for seats designed for larger drivers. The seat features high-grip upholstery in critical areas—specifically the shoulder bolsters and seat base—to assist with lateral support during high-load driving conditions. The EVO series also includes a greater back angle rake compared to other Sparco seat models, offering an ergonomically favorable seating position for extended use.
