Stilo’s ST5 GT line of racing helmets are engineered for maximum flexibility to integrate into any racing environment. The Stilo ST5 GT Composite Helmet is constructed with a lightweight Fiberglass/Kevlar shell for weight-savings at a more affordable price. Redesigned shell optimizes shell size, airflow, visibility and weight. The ST5 GT features a taller eyeport than the previous ST4 to allow for use in both closed and open cockpit racers, with a much larger visor that opens past the line of sight for greater visibility. Two shell sizes – one for X-Small through Medium, and another for the larger sizes – allows for weight savings without sacrificing fit. Side-mounted ports allow for the easy integration of intercoms, hydration systems, and/or forced-air. The standard 3mm Clear visor (other shield types in a variety of tints sold separately) mounts with machined aluminum fasteners and creates an air-tight seal via a rubber seal. The Integrated electronics jack (sold separately) is positioned far enough away from the HANS post anchor in order to make the use of the jack trouble free even when the HANS is worn. When installed the wiring is all positioned safely and conveniently behind the padding so as to be transparent to the user. EPS cheek pads provide the best in lateral crash safety, while retaining the functionality of the earmuffs to provide a comfortable aural environment for communication
Snell SA-2020 and FIA-8859 homologations satisfy almost all sanctioning body requirements. What’s changed in 2020 vs. SA2015? The Snell SA2020 testing requirements have changed a small amount and have now become more in line with the FIA 8859 Helmet Standard.

Sizing
An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a measuring tape, or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head starting at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement, and finally wrapping back to the front. It is a good idea to take several measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
